Best pet store in Anne Arundel County! Highly recommend to all pet owners. I own 3 dogs and 3 cats and I get all their food and supplies here. They have high quality food and treats for my pets and they have lots of parking. The store is clean and the staff are professional and knowledgeable. I love supporting small business and I love being able to get everything I need from one store.

I can always find what I'm looking for here, this time was for cute donuts and cookies for a last minute dog birthday celebration. They even had soft treats for a friend's older dog whose teeth are too worn down for regular food.

Crunches is my go-to pet supply store. They are the only local store where I can find my puppies food. Lots of other cool and fun stuff for browsing. Very friendly and laid back staff. I've made quite a few quick runs there.

I drive from DC to get to Crunches. They seem pricy if you are not used to get quality dog food. But if you already giving your pet good food they are sensibly priced more importantly they have a good selection. I strongly recommend Crunchies.

Excellent selection and prices. About the same price as Chewy. You also get excellent customer service. Had a few questions and the owner of the shop answered and recommended us great products. Someone was talking about expensive products on here but they’re all boutique food selections and not your run of the mill grocery dog foods. Will be doing all our pet food shopping here from now on.

They have the best quality of pet products and we have been going to them for years now for our cat's specialty food. The higher quality of food really makes a difference on their health and it is really shows, especially how their fur/coat became shiner, softer and fuller. We tend to get a mix of wet and dry food. Our cats absolutely love it and keeping our pets healthier to start with through good food and care, saves a ton on vet bills. With getting the food and products from Crunchies, we can verify that they are the actual fresh products vs ordering online which can be "cheaper" but actual authenticity of the products has been questionable. It was a waste of time and money, since none of the stuff we ever got online for "cheaper" has even smelled like the right thing, stale at best if it was the "real" product. The cats can certainly tell the difference and we have never repeated those mistakes.

We are adopting a puppy tomorrow and wanted to get the same type of food the foster has been using. Crunchies is the only place in Crofton that sells the Frooms dog food. When I walked in, I was greeted immediately which is the first thing I look for when going into a new store. The owner was well versed in the best type of foods for a 10 week old puppy and why. I will be a repeat client. Highly recommend this store for all pet owners.

I'm giving this company five stars for one reason I live in Severna Park and there are several pet stores in Severna Park, Annapolis, Pasadena and Glen Burnie Maryland but my wife will drive 30 minutes to Crofton every weekend to pick up food for our Siamese cat magician I have no clue as to what goes on inside of that place but I'm going to tell you this my wife goes where there's quality. She is a health nut. So it's only naturally that she's going to give our cat the best food and care possible so I will check out crunchies for that reason alone and that's the reason why I gave them five stars because they're getting my money lol

We go here every now and then to get some cat toys that are not found in petsmart or petco. It's a nice place to go. Got a bunch of free samples the last time the wife went in to get a few things.

We really enjoy visiting Crunchies for our pet needs. Our cat, Marley, never complains when we come home with new toys and delicious food/treats. The staff are always friendly. There are even a couple of in-store four-pawed residents that say hello from time to time. We've also purchased a large scratching post here, as they have a nice collection of sturdy hand made cat furniture. Highly recommend.

I called them looking for a very specific brand and mix of raw dog food. They had exactly what I needed but not a huge supply on hand. I went in to pick it up and the store is pretty large with a lot of food brands and other pet supplies. I was the only person there and I spoke with the guy at the counter about my pickup that they held for me and also about getting a larger order to last a week. They took my info and the next week called when it came in and I went and picked up. So easy, so friendly, so helpful. Can't say enough for the quality products they carry and the care they give in helping customers.

If you have a dog or cat you should definitely check out this great little gem in Crofton! Of course we are all familiar with the big box pet stores, but this is a fantastic locally owned small business. The owners are local and on site and the staff is all friendly and very knowledgeable. They offer a fantastic assortment of pet food. We went looking for different items for our three dogs. They have a nice selection of specialty dog food for that pet who is a finicky eater or on a special diet. They also have a lot of pet treats that you can purchase in bulk. We loved the idea that we could choose a few from each bin and see which ones our dogs liked the best before going back to buy larger quantities of those. They have a cooler that you can get fresh pet food from as well. Need new toys for your pet? They have a great assortment. You might not think that a small, local shop would have so much, but they do! Check them out.

Absolutely love this store! We took our family dog here his entire long life (chow Belgian sheepdog mix of 14 years) and my new husky pup to get some high quality food. The employees are so kind and knowledgeable, and recommended a great food + transition plan, plus a sample of probiotics, treats and toy! So worth patronizing here and we are happy customers of over 15 years!

Crunchies is a great pet food store, esp. for pets w/special needs diets. My cats were vomiting blood and mucus from Blue Buffalo brand cat food! So I went to Crunchies and have been getting food by FROMM and Taste of the Wild PREY line and my cats love it, no more gastric upset and injury like from Blue Buffalo brand, and when people come over and pet my cats, they mention how soft their coats are and ask me what I feed them. Crunchies special orders if needed and it arrives fairly promptly. They also have some thrift items to buy and donate that money to a rescue program, and I got a really cute chair for just $20 that someone painted and made the seating pad w/cat material, totally cute. This business is a great resource for pet owners, they even have herbal and homeopathic remedies for pet health problems.

One has to keep in mind that this is a high-end pet food store, so they are a bit pricey (even a little higher than comparable chain stores for the same products). BUT they offer a good variety of high quality food and homeopathic options. In addition all of the staff I have interacted with have been knowledgeable, helpful, and friendly - something I don't always find at the chain stores. For me, it is worth paying just a little bit more to support a local business.

Highly recommend Crunchies! My German Shepard is very itchy. I went in to crunchies looking for better food. I did a google search of foods which left my mind spinning and even more confused. I went in thinking I would get a quick recommendation and be on my way hoping whatever I bought will magically fix our issue. The gentleman on duty took the time to truly listen, asked me questions and then asked if I would mind waiting while he made a call. He then asked if I would mind talking to his manager (Julia) over the phone. Holy customer service!!!!! I am so blown away! Julia and I talked over the phone for close to 30 min! Julia walked me thru The Who, what, how, when and whys of what we needed. I have no doubt that Julia cares about my dog as if it were he own. Julia researches every brand that she carries. If she wouldn’t feed it to her own animals it doesn’t come thru her doors to be sold to others! Not only did I leave with a better product to start our healing journey BUT I left with knowledge on what to expect and when to expect it! I passed at least 2 other dog specialty stores just to go to Crunchies and boy am I glad I did! Julia never judged me when I told her the food I have been feeding my dog! She never pushed me to purchase the highest price brand. . . Actually quite the opposite. Thank you Crunchies for all you do!

Very friendly and helpful staff! My senior dog has become more finicky about his food so I've been on the hunt to put him on a new diet. The staff at Crunchies helped me select some items to get started on a raw food diet as well as gave me tons of free samples of kibble and treats for my picky chihuahua.

Great first-time experience. High quality food everywhere. Got our dog salmon skin and dehydrated lamb sausage. We mentioned to the guy in the counter (maybe the owner?) that our dog would sneeze in the mornings and he gave us samples of some pills. They also have a cart full of food samples and we ended up taking home one of them.

When it comes to a place like Crunchies, there should be more than 5 STARS. I walked in for the first time a week ago after driving by for years. Almost by accident, I end up discussing a problem one of my cats has been having and how the various veterinary solutions had no effect. He asked me about the problem and had a solution he wanted me to try. He gave me a week's supply!! One week later, I was back to buy a full supply. But just my luck, they were closed. (no, they do not have big box hours - just adapt). Anyway, the owner I had not met was getting in the car to leave for the day. She asked me what I needed and I told her the above story. SHE OPENED THE STORE AND TURNED ON THE LIGHTS just so I could get some more of that miracle cure. She could not stand the idea of one of my babies continuing to suffer. Stopping at Crunchies was the best move I've made for my cats PERIOD. I will not buy big box store pet food again. It only makes sense. I don't eat big box store food, why should my cats? Thank you Crunchies. Never change.
